The City Council of Pärnu with its 33 members is the representative body of the
municipal government that is elected by the electorate of the city of Pärnu in every four years.
The work of the City Council is organised by the chairman Vahur Mäe.
The City Council has six committees with different scope of activity and they
function as the advisory organs for the City Council.
